How Thanksgiving Pre-Orders Work
1. Order Online by Wednesday, November 18
Order online by Wednesday, November 18 at 9 PM. Pay when you order. Quantities are limited, so the earlier the better.
2. Pick Up Wednesday, November 25 at the Drive-Thru
Pull into the drive-thru at 5901 W National Ave any time between 11 AM and 8 PM on Wednesday, November 25. Give us the name on the order and we load your car.
3. Heat and Serve on Thanksgiving Day
Everything is packed cold with a heating sheet for each item. Most dishes go in the oven 20 to 40 minutes. No carving, no stress, and the kitchen is yours to enjoy.

Roast Turkey, Dressing & Gravy
Half roast turkey, brined and roasted, carved and packed with pan drippings, $68. Add a quart of scratch turkey gravy, a quarter sheet of Kegel's dressing, mashed potatoes by the quart and house cranberry sauce, or get the whole spread with red cabbage as the Thanksgiving Dinner for 4, $130.
German Specialties: Rouladen, Sauerbraten, Roast Duck
Beef rouladen, sauerbraten, beef goulash, roast duck, roast pork shank, wiener and pork schnitzel, and three- or six-sausage platters, each packed as the dish only so you build your own plate. Feeding a table? The Feasts for 4 come with sides, bread and a quart of soup: Sauerbraten $130, Rouladen, Goulash or Duck $150.
Sides by the Quart, Soups & Whole Desserts
Homemade spätzle, red cabbage, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, German potato salad, string beans and the käsespätzle crock, by the quart or pan, $5 to $28. Chicken dumpling or liver dumpling soup by the quart. Duck, jäger and rahm mushroom gravy by the pint. Whole apple strudel and whole carrot cake. Party platters too: charcuterie board, curry wurst and Bavarian pretzels with cheese.
Heating Instructions
Every item comes cold with its own heating sheet in the bag. Most dishes go in a 325 to 350 degree oven, covered, for 20 to 40 minutes; gravies, soups and sides by the quart warm on the stovetop; schnitzel crisps on a rack at 400 for 8 to 10 minutes; strudel takes 10 minutes and the carrot cake is served as is. Pull everything out of the fridge about 30 minutes before heating, and plan on the turkey taking the longest. A printable heating guide will be posted here before pickup day.

Can I change my order after I place it?
Yes, until orders close on Wednesday, November 18 at 9 PM. Call (414) 257-9999 with your name and we will add to it or adjust it. After the 18th the kitchen has already counted, so we cannot take changes.
Do you deliver Thanksgiving dinner?
No. Holiday pre-orders are pickup only at our drive-thru, 5901 W National Ave in West Allis, on Wednesday, November 25 between 11 AM and 8 PM. Pull up, give us the name on the order, and we load your car.
Is Kegel's Inn open on Thanksgiving Day?
No. Kegel's Inn is closed on Thanksgiving Day so our staff can be with their families. All holiday pre-orders are picked up Wednesday, November 25, the day before, and everything keeps cold overnight for heat and serve on Thursday. We reopen Friday, November 27 for fish fry.
